From 23 to 26 October 2023, we visited Bolzano for the ‘Hotel 2023’ trade fair. The international trade fair for the hospitality and catering industry was a special opportunity for dialogue thanks to the topics that this year’s organisation focused on: in addition to the themes of sustainability, innovation and architecture, there was also a large space dedicated to Human Resources.

Hence, the presence of this topic finally becomes crucial: the beating heart of this sector was explored in depth thanks to speeches, debates and the presence of companies operating in this field.

We had the opportunity to have an open discussion with professionals on the concept of ‘New Work’, i.e. the new working paradigm that requires flexibility and innovation in order to attract, retain in the long term and build a motivated workforce.
